If you research it, you'll see that America's founders wisely had the government charter corporations to serve  the public good. Corporations guided by the governing hand of the sovereign will of the people can be a fabulous engine for unleashing human creativity and mobilizing resources for the advancement of human good.   The problem is that the system of representative democracy, a fabulous advance in the horse-and-buggy days, is no longer functional.  When 536 elected individuals control the vast public budget, it's no wonder that corporations, designed to make profit, buy them off.   What we need to do is to recognize that we are world citizen, that we are the sovereigns, and that we have the power to create global wiki-government literally of, by and for the people.
